Expenses

The Expenses menu contains information about product-related costs.



Product costs

The Product costs functionality provides options to manage all the costs incurred to create and deliver a product as well as other fees related to it.



The Product costs page grid displays detailed information on:

  • product costs: Cost of goods, Other fees, Shipping costs, and VAT

  • related product details: SKU, ASIN, Image, Marketplace, Title, Condition, and Fulfillment method.

It provides functionality to:

  • filter

  • enable/disable Synchronization with Repricer.

  •  and sort information;

  • import costs manually;

  • update costs for every product;




Column nameDescription
Amazon 
account name
The title of the Amazon customer account.
SKU
The stock-keeping unit is the unique alphanumeric code used to track a product for inventory and sales purposes. Sometimes, two different marketplaces have the same SKU, which is not a problem.
ASIN

The Amazon Standard Identification Number is a 10-digit alphanumeric product identification number.

One ASIN (represented by a product) may cover several SKUs (represented by the offers, which may vary by locations, senders, etc.).

The photo displaying the product.
Marketplace
The marketplace and the country where the products are offered.
Title
The product description.
Condition
The product condition, chosen from a drop-down menu.
Fulfillment method

Being defined by the customer, the Fulfillment method shows who is responsible for shipping the product: 

  • FBA – fulfilled by Amazon;

  • FBM – fulfilled by the merchant.


Cost of goods

Current period value of the Cost of goods for the product. If no Cost of goods is provided, the value in the Cost of goods column is N/A. To update the Cost of goods, click the value in the Cost of goods column, and fill in the information in the Cost of goods modal form.

If Repricer is connected, the cost of goods value is taken from the Net purchase price data in Repricer, by default.

Other fees

Current period value of the other fees for the product. If no other fees for the product are provided, the value in the Other fees column is N/A. To update the other fees, click the value in the Other fees column, and fill in the information in the Other fees modal form.

If Repricer is connected, the other fees value is taken from the Other fees data in Repricer, by default.

Shipping cost

Current period value of the shipping cost for the product. If no shipping cost for the product is provided, the value in the Shipping cost column is N/A. To update the shipping cost for FBM products, click the value in the Shipping cost column, and fill in the information in the Shipping cost modal form.

For FBA products, the Shipping cost cannot be entered manually because it is provided by Amazon API. Next to the N/A value for FBA products, the Calculated by Amazon tooltip is shown.

VAT(%)

Current period value of the VAT for the product. If no VAT for the product is provided, the value in the VAT(%) column is N/A. To update the VAT for FBM products, click the value in the VAT(%) column, and fill in the information in the VAT modal form.

For FBA products, the VAT(%) cannot be entered manually because it is provided by Amazon API. Next to the N/A value for FBA products, the Calculated by Amazon tooltip is shown.

Synchronize 
with Repricer
This column shows if Repricer synchronization is enabled for the product.



Permissions
* The product costs page is available for the Admin role or for users with the relevant permission (BA product costs > View is enabled)
* The option to manage product costs is available for Admin role or for users wit the relevant permission ( BA product costs > Manage is enabled)
