SFTP settings

The “SFTP settings” page allows you to configure and manage secure, automated file transfers through the SELLERLOGIC SFTP service. This service provides an encrypted and reliable channel for uploading files, which can then be referenced in automated import operations across various SELLERLOGIC services.

To access the page, navigate to SELLERLOGIC Global action bar > Settings > SFTP settings.

Prerequisites

To access the “SFTP settings” page and manage SFTP settings, the following conditions must be fulfilled:

  • SFTP client installed: Ensure an SFTP client of your choice is installed on your system. The SFTP client is required to upload files to the SELLERLOGIC SFTP storage and to access the file URL needed for referencing in the Auto import settings.
  • Subscription requirement: You must have an active Repricer with a Trial or Advanced subscription plan. For more information, see General | Repricer | Subscription management.
  • Permission requirement: The following permissions must be enabled for the user: Administration > SFTP access > List & Administration > SFTP access > Manage. For more information, see General | Manage user permissions.

Credential fields

Use the information below to set up your SFTP connection. All fields include a "Copy to clipboard" icon for easy copying.

Field Description
Host The address of the SELLERLOGIC SFTP storage. Use this in your SFTP client or automation system.
Username A system-generated login ID. This value is fixed and cannot be edited.
Password A masked, system-generated password required to authenticate the connection. To generate a new password, click the lock icon ("Generate new password").
Port The default SFTP port used for secure file transfers.

Enable SELLERLOGIC SFTP service

To enable and use the SELLERLOGIC SFTP service, follow these steps:

Step 1. Toggle the service switch to "Active":

  • When set to Active, your credentials and configuration fields become available for use in auto-import workflows.
  • When set to Inactive, the service is disabled, and all associated import operations will stop.

Step 2. Copy the "Host", "Username", “Password”, and “Port” values.

Step 3. Input the copied credentials into your SFTP client or automated file transfer system to authenticate the connection.

Step 4. Upload the files to the SELLERLOGIC SFTP storage.

Step 5. After the upload is complete, right-click the uploaded file to copy its URL. Paste the copied URL into the Auto import settings to reference the file.

Referencing uploaded files

Files uploaded via the SELLERLOGIC SFTP service can be used across the following SELLERLOGIC pages:

To reference a file from your SELLERLOGIC SFTP service, access the corresponding Auto import settings and enter the URL of the uploaded file, as provided by your SFTP client. No further configuration is needed; authentication credentials are automatically applied based on your SELLERLOGIC SFTP settings.
