Auto import product settings

The “Auto import product settings” page allows you to schedule recurring import operations to automatically update product settings on Repricer. Imports can be configured to run at defined intervals and stored at dedicated URLs for retrieval. You can manage multiple import schedules by creating and customizing auto import settings.

To open the “Auto import product settings” page, navigate to Repricer navigation bar > Import / Export > Auto import settings.

Prerequisites:

To access the “Auto import product settings” page and manage automatic imports of product settings, ensure the following:

  • An active Repricer subscription on the Trial, Starter, or Advanced plan.
  • The following user permissions are granted:
    • Repricer > Import Setting > List
    • Repricer > Import Setting > Save settings

For more information, see General | User Management | Manage user permissions.

1. Set up a new auto import

Follow these steps to create a new auto import setting:

Step 1. Click the “Add” button (plus icon) in the upper-left corner of the page to open the "Create auto import settings” modal.

Step 2. Configure the settings for a new auto import in the “Create auto import settings” modal as follows:

  • Settings title: Enter a descriptive name to reference the auto import settings on the “Import product settings” page (optional).
  • Import URL: Specify a valid web address starting with http://, https://, sftp://, or ftp://. This URL should point to the location of the import file (required).
  • Password protected: Enable this option if your import source is password-protected. Enter the corresponding login and password in the fields below. If the import file resides on the SELLERLOGIC SFTP server, credentials are not required, as the system automatically uses customer-specific authentication. Note: Login and password are required if the “Password protected” checkbox is selected.
  • Import will run: Defines the scheduled intervals for the import. To restore the default period settings, click the “Reset” button. To modify the schedule, switch between the following tabs and adjust their settings accordingly (selection required):
    • Minutes: Specify the minutes;
    • Hours: Specify the hours or select “hourly”;
    • Days: Specify days of the month or weekdays. Alternatively, select “Every day”;
    • Month: Specify months or select “Every month”.
  • Advanced options: Customize import frequency within each scheduling tab. To set the advanced import frequency, open the corresponding tab (“Minutes”, “Hours”, “Days”, or “Months”), click on “Advanced options”, and use the radio button to select the frequency:
    • Every: Run the import at a fixed interval (e.g., every 15 minutes) starting from the defined point;
    • Every hour/month between … and …: Run the import within a specific time range.

Step 3. Once all the necessary settings have been configured, click “Save”. Once saved, the auto import becomes enabled by default, allowing the system to automatically import product settings according to the configured schedule.

The results of the executed auto import operations can be viewed on the “Import product settings” page. For more information, see Repricer | Import product settings.

2. Manage your auto import settings

The “Auto import product settings” page displays all auto import settings created by the users under your SELLERLOGIC account. Each auto import appears as a panel with the following details:

  • Enabled/Disabled: A toggle indicating whether the auto import is active. Switch the toggle to enable or disable the execution of automatic import.
  • Settings title: A custom name used to identify the auto import setting. If left empty, no title is shown.
  • Password protection: Indicates whether the import file is password-protected.
  • Import will run: Shows the scheduled frequency at which the import is executed.
  • Import URL: Displays the unique URL for retrieving the import file. Info: Click the copy button to copy the URL to the clipboard. When the import URL is no longer available, the system will notify you by displaying an error icon.

2.2. Update auto import settings

To modify the configuration of the existing auto import, click the "Settings” button (gear icon) within the corresponding auto import panel and make all necessary changes in the “Update auto import settings” modal. The fields available in this form are identical to those in the "Create auto import settings" form.

2.3. Delete auto import settings

To remove the unnecessary auto import, click the “Delete” button (trash bin icon) within the corresponding auto import panel and confirm your action. This permanently removes the selected auto import from the system.
